Buzzfeed, Vox, fail in more ways than just ‘diversity and inclusion’

An analysis of company reports and publicly available personnel data show that two of the media’s most progressive outlets, are in fact, largely white, with newsroom personnel that does not represent the true diversity of the U.S. population.

Woke media companies Buzzfeed and Vox love to portray themselves as the epitome of the new “explanatory” journalism—that is, progressive propaganda disguised as news.

But perhaps they should first take a stab at explaining why they have not been able to match their deeds with their rhetoric on their “diversity and inclusion” goals.

The Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler has given President Joe Biden the maximum Four Pinocchios for his false claims on the 2nd Amendment–specifically cannon ownership–in remarks to the press recently.

WaPo’s Critical Race Theory video explores White identity, White shame for White women

It looks and sounds like the Washington Post is pushing Critical Race Theory (CRT) propaganda and promoting white self-loathing.  The WaPo video publication “The Lily” is targeting white, millennial women with CRT under the wrapper of “The New Normal.”  The video poses the question, “Why is White racial identity important?”.

#deathsantis: Florida politicians and Blue Checks on Twitter spread dangerous disinformation

In a tragic incident at a Pride Parade in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday, one person was killed, and another was injured after being struck by a vehicle. The person responsible was discovered to be a part of a men’s chorus attending the pride parade.  

But, shortly after the accident, politicians and Twitter blue-checks somehow recklessly linked Florida’s Republican Governor to the accident. Ultimately having the hashtag “DeathSantis” trend on Twitter.

Vice publication rewrites American history: badly

Refinery29, a Vice publication aimed at young, female progressives, is making up for questions about its perceived anti-Black bias by embracing the radical fringe of the Black liberation movement and lying about American history.

In its latest apologia, Refinery29 offers “White Lies My Textbooks Taught Me” by Shirley Williams.

Vox threatened by Asian-American success

In an Instagram “comic”, Vox claims the success of some Asian Americans contributes to a racial divide that “threatens our solidarity”. 

This comes after Accuracy in Media reported on an NPR intern who published an article explaining how “model immigrant” Asian Americans were a myth, trying desperately to diminish the group’s success.

Vox’s data inexplicably excludes Chinese and Korean Americans, which make up a combined 31% of the Asian population in the United States. 

At the same time, Vox generalizes Asian Americans, despite the fact they can hail from 48 countries with different cultures.
