Capitol Police let rioters in to “peacefully assemble,” video shows

(INTELLIHUB— U.S. Capitol Police were captured on video letting protesters peacefully assemble in the building during the so-called “storming of the capitol,” which occurred on January 6, 2021.

The video shows Capitol Police working with peaceful protesters to exercise their right to assemble.

The police appear to have let a crowd of protesters, including the Viking cap-wearing man Jake Angeli, also known as the “QAnon Shaman.”

“Show us no attack, no assault, remain calm,” said one Capitol Policeman before letting the crowd through.

“We are not going to assault,” one of the protesters responded to the officer. “We are going to be heard.”

“This has to be peaceful,” Angeli told the crowd. “We have the right to peacefully assemble.”

The video contradicts the official narrative to some extent and could be used to defend those who stormed the U.S. Capitol building.

The video footage somewhat contradicts what CBS News and other major news outlets reported.
