House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was nowhere to be found during Monday’s session on Capitol Hill which sparked a string of comments online questioning her whereabouts.
The Madam Speaker’s disappearance from the house went virtually unnoticed and was unreported by media outlets.
“She’s too drunk and appointed a substitute,” James Kowalski commented on Facebook.
Kate Soda posted a meme showing a party with full-on confetti in celebration of Pelosi’s truancy.

Pam Perkins wrote:
“Well, I’m disappointed! She just had someone take her place today! I was ready for her to be gone for good!”
U.S. representative Debbie Dingell filled in for Pelosi.
